It's been twenty days now since I moved in. Thoughts:
1. It's not as lonely as I thought it would be. Or maybe I'm just used to it. No problems with loneliness so far.
2. Cooking and cleaning takes up so much time. Being a housewife is a full ass time job (with kids at least).
3. Need more free time. I was going to decorate the walls myself, but I have no real time to make anything. Walls are just bare, maybe forever. Someone bring me some nice things to put up.
4. Desire to be balling slowly rising, sorta. I look around and all I see is the lowest grade of everything. (Cheapest table possible, cheapest tv possible, cheapest bed possible..etc) But so far still fine with it.
The dollar store has a lot of things you can put on your walls ! just get creative! I love the dollar store :3
ReplyDeletesounds like you are adjusting fine :)
ReplyDeletedecorating is always fun... but it usually takes me all the time i live in a place to decorate it. in other words, it's always an open project, constantly improving.
ReplyDeleteCleaning definitely takes a lot of time and effort. And it's not even fun. Even when you try to take Mary Poppins' advice and try to turn it in a game =[
ReplyDeleteA spoonful of sugar does NOT make the medicine go down.
it's like how in the sims you have to start out with all the crappy furniture and buy better stuff when you get more money :)
ReplyDeletei hope you start to feel better about it and not worse
nothing wrong with having cheap everything :D
ReplyDeleteHave a SUPER weekend !
ReplyDeletethis is sounding good. and cleaning and cooking can be long but really rewarding as you can see the fruits of your effort.
ReplyDeleteHave a housewarming, demand gifts!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about decorating. I've been in my place for about 2 years and still haven't finished.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything in your new house. Free time and all that will eventually fall into place, so don't be too hard on yourself!
